Victoria offering up to $13,000 AUD for relocation

If you’re a health professional living outside Australia, there is now an even better reason to make the move to Victoria. As of 1 April 2022, international and returning Australian health workers are eligible for up to $13,000 to help fund your relocation to Victoria and join one of our many, highly regarded health services.

We know that the engagement and satisfaction of our workforce is critical to positive healthcare outcomes and investment in the wellbeing of our workforce post-COVID is a sector and Government priority. The success of the Victorian system is driven by the conditions and benefits offered to the health workforce.

Victoria provides visa nomination to highly skilled professionals.

The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) is a permanent visa for skilled migrants with advanced talent currently working in Victoria using their STEMM skills. You must receive nomination from Victoria before you can apply for the visa.

The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) allows skilled migrants to live, study and work in designated regional areas for a period of 5 years. You must receive nomination from Victoria before you can apply for the visa.
