FAQ’S
Do I need a visa to enter Australia?
Whether you are visiting Australia for less than 72 hours or planning on a stay of several years you must have a valid Australian visa.
Can I work in Australia?
If you are wanting to work during your stay in Australia then you must obtain a visa that suits the work you intend on completing.
Can I extend a Visitor visa?
If your visa does not have a condition that prevents further stay, you may be able to apply for a new visa while your current visa is still valid.
What are visa conditions?
Your visa may be granted with conditions telling you what you are allowed to do while you’re on the visa. These conditions can be things like working in a particular job or studying at a particular education provider. Once your visa is granted you must check your visa conditions and ensure you are not in breach of these conditions during your stay.
How do I know the status of my visa?
You can check the status of your visa online. As a visa holder you can use the Visa Entitlement Verification Online system (VEVO) to see your current visa details and conditions. VEVO does not provide information on your previous
visas or new applications that the Department may be assessing.
My visa is expiring, can you help me?
If you know your Australian visa is about to expire and you want to stay in the country, you are far better off exploring your options now rather than waiting until you become unlawful. We can assess your situation and help explore other visa options with you.
Do you have a job ready program?
Our Get Ready Program is a job ready program, designed to assist international candidates in securing employer sponsorship in Australia.
